Shipping & Returns
Local Pickup. At checkout customers will have an option to select local pickup and avoid paying shipping charges. Local pickup is for the Buffalo / Niagara area only. Pickup location: 77 Ruskin Road; Buffalo, NY; 14226. Orders must be placed online prior to pickup. You will receive an email when your order is ready for pickup.
If you select local pickup and are unable to pickup your purchase we can not ship the items to you. If you need to change your delivery method please email is at email@example.com and we will be happy to assist you.
Covid-19 Update. We're open and working hard to promptly ship all orders while maintaining a safe environment. USPS and UPS are both experiencing delays and longer-than-usual shipping/processing times. This is likely to continue. We advise planning out your orders carefully and in as much advance as possible, particularly for time sensitive orders. Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding.
JAN 2021: Due to COVID-19, UPS and USPS have suspended service guarantees. Quoted delivery dates are estimates, and shipping times may take longer.
USPS is experiencing significant delays. While orders are being processed and shipped on time, we are seeing instances of some packages not receiving their initial scan for up to 10 days. We ask that you keep this in mind when placing orders and as you keep an eye on your tracking information. If an order is more than 10 days late or has not received any tracking updates in that time, please contact us with the order number.
Shipping Policy. Orders are processed within 2-3 business days. At this time, we ship to addresses that are located within the continental United States only. Orders can be cancelled providing you contact us before your order ships. Once your products have shipped, we cannot cancel your order. In-stock items ship within 48 hours (excluding weekends and holidays).

Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates. Rates for shipping are calculated based on the weight of your package, your location and the speed of delivery. We are continually trying to find ways of decreasing the cost of shipping and handling so we can pass these savings on to our customers. At checkout, you will be provided with discounted shipping options including shipping method and estimated delivery time from USPS and UPS. As always, Pour & Penchant will continue to offer competitive, discounted shipping rates for our customers.
Shipment Confirmation & Order Tracking. You will receive a shipment confirmation email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number will be active within 24 hours. Our typical shipping time is 48 hours on in-stock merchandise. In the rare event we are out of stock on the item you have selected, you will be notified via email. Your card will not be charged if we are out of stock.
Returns & Exchanges. We gladly accept returns and exchanges. You can return or exchange unused items in the original packaging within 30 days of your purchase with receipt or proof of purchase. If 30 days or more have passed since your purchase, we cannot offer you a refund or an exchange. Only regular priced items may be refunded. Promotional and sale items are non-refundable.
Green Packaging. Pour & Penchant buys and ships using recycled materials that are fully recyclable so they can go right into the recycling bin. We safely ship our candles wrapped in Kraft Tex paper that is a 100% eco-friendly, recyclable, and contains no chemicals. Our packing peanuts are biodegradable and will dissolve quickly and safely in water.
Shipping boxes take a huge amount of abuse. We all know how much 'attention' our friends at UPS and USPS give our packages! We use boxes with the highest percentage recycled content possible, while ensuring your packages arrive safely. Our shipping boxes are made from 90% post-consumer content. All shipping materials are recyclable or biodegradable and manufactured in the United States.
Damaged Items During Shipping. Our damage rate is very low overall, but issues can come up from time to time. If you ever find that an item arrives damaged or otherwise unusable, please take a picture of the damaged or broken item and email us at email@example.com. We are not expecting anything returned to us and we will be happy to ship you a replacement. Do not attempt to salvage the wax or use a broken vessel. Please wrap the damaged item(s) in the kraft paper it was shipped with and safely dispose of the broken item in your normal garbage.
