Myths and Legends was created as a result of the challenging times we have experienced as a global community. In the first of this series, we leverage unique makers with talents in ink drawing as well as handcrafted candle making to further inspire through our visual and olfactory sensations, creating a true work of art, representative of the boundless opportunities presented by the human spirit.
BLACKTHORN. In times of challenge and devastation, we find what is meaningful in our lives and our true capacities as human beings. Let the thorns protect and guide us, serve as a barrier that enables us to find time and energy in order to source hope and light amidst the darkest night. Like the famed Nightingale’s beautiful, powerful song ebbing and flowing from beyond the sharp tentacles of the mighty Blackthorn - which serves as her protector against the predatory nature of night - we can summon the courage to journey into a new dawning day, to the Tree of Life.
